Sackville Snow Days

The Sackville Snow Days is our annual winter festival that runs during the February long weekend. Led by the Sackville Business Association, countless community groups, organizations, businesses and volunteers come together to create a weekend filled with winter fun.

January 16 – February 15
Snow Days Colouring Contest — FREE
Show off your artistic ability and be entered to win a $25 Cineplex gift card!  One gift card will be awarded for each age group:  age 5 and under, 5-10, and 10+. Colouring sheets can be printed HERE or picked up at the Sackville Public Library. Completed sheets must be submitted no later than 4pm on February 15th to be eligible for entry. Drop off locations: AA Munro Insurance, 209 Cobequid Road or Sackville Public Library, 636 Sackville Drive.

Snowman Contest — FREE

Scavenger Hunt — FREE
Win a VIP Pizza Party (Value $100). Scavenger Hunt Clues will be available HERE and at the Sackville Public Library on Friday, February 16th at 10 am. Completed clues must be submitted no later than 5 pm on Sunday, February 18th.

Wear your favourite costume and help us kick off the start of Snow Days! There will be fun for the whole family, with dancing, treats, and children’s activities provided by Via Vita Academy and Build-a-Block Retail & Parties.

What better way to enjoy snow days than snowshoeing!  Try snowshoeing on the beautiful trails of First Lake.  If you have your own snowshoes, please bring them. If not, there will be some to borrow (limited quantity).  Refreshments and washroom facilities will be available.
