From Parker Street:
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has recently donated to our furniture bank! We are so grateful to you for your generous donations and abundance of support.
From Feed Nova Scotia:
We’re proud to be the provincial member of Foodbanks Canada. This year their support and leadership was nothing short of phenomenal. They shared with Feed Nova Scotia more than 1M kg of food and $2.4 million last year, which we shared with our network
The Nova Scotia Nature Trust is delighted to share this exciting news, just in time for summer sunshine. 363 acres of spectacular coastal wilderness near Port La Tour on Nova Scotia’s south shore secures one of the province’s last remaining large and ecologically rich coastal properties. It is also a significant site for migratory, overwintering and nesting birds, including endangered Piping Plover.
Opportunities to protect Nova Scotia’s treasured coastline are rare – this is good news worth celebrating.
