She also holds the distinction of being the first to win the Country Music Association’s Female Vocalist of the Year Award four times consecutively.  McEntire is also a rare musical artist to achieve solo number-ones across four decades (1980s\, 1990s\, 2000s\, 2010s). \nShe holds the record for most CMA Award nominations for a female artist\, with 50. \nMcEntire also holds the record with the most ACM Awards nominations for a female artist with 47. \nIn December 2018\, McEntire received the Kennedy Center Honor.  McEntire’s stepdaughter-in-law Kelly Clarkson performed McEntire’s song “Fancy” as a tribute to her at the ceremony. \n  \n
