DESCRIPTION:Join us for an evening of storytelling with Grant Maltman – curator of the Banting House Museum in London\, ON – as he brings to life the stories of those impacted by the discovery of insulin in 1921 and tells the tale of Sir Frederick Banting\, co-discoverer of insulin. Entrance is by donation to Diabetes Canada’s summer camp programs in Nova Scotia. Suggested donation is $10/person. Donations also accepted at the door. Due to some graphic images of life before insulin\, parental discretion is advised for those under 12.
