DESCRIPTION:There’s a closure scheduled for the Macdonald Bridge this weekend. \nThe span will be shut down to all traffic from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday\, June 1 while crews pave the road deck\, sidewalk and bike lanes. \nThe bike lane and sidewalk will also be closed. \nA shuttle will carry pedestrians and cyclists between 40 Faulkner Drive in Dartmouth and near North St. and Gottingen St. in Halifax. The bus will leave those locations every 30 minutes at the top and bottom of the hour. \nThe work is weather dependent\, so if it has been be called off Saturday\, the bridge will be open that day and the closure will be pushed to back to Sunday. \nStory from HalifaxToday \n
