DESCRIPTION:On February 16th\, RISE UP in support of the 1 in 5 Nova Scotian’s with lung disease. \nThe Lung Association of Nova Scotia\, in partnership with the Halifax Fire and Emergency Services\, is organizing Stair Heroes\, the first-ever Halifax stair climb! You can register to climb the 18-flights at Scotia Square alongside local firefighters to raise much needed awareness and funds for lung health in Nova Scotia. \nThis is a family-oriented event including a morning filled with stair climbing and entertainment to support the Lung Association of Nova Scotia. You can register to climb as an individual or a team in either the competitive or recreational heats. You will also be able to compare your time to our local firefighters’ who will be climbing the stairs wearing 75+ pounds of equipment! \n\nDate: February 16th\, 2020\nTime: 8am-11:30am\nLocation: Scotia Square\, Downtown Halifax\nRegistration Fee: $25\n\nFor more information or to register\, click here. Registration fee includes; a participation medal\, swag bag\, light refreshments and entertainment for the entire family.
