DESCRIPTION:The Northern Lights Lantern Festival is a community festival which celebrates the vibrancy and diversity of Halifax’s North End. The Festival has no admission cost and has live music through out the event from a variety of local performers. At the festival there is a free community BBQ\, bouncy castles\, games for kids\, a petting zoo and pony rides\, and lantern making station\, all at no cost! At the end of the night everyone lights their lanterns for the parade of lanterns\, which is followed by a fireworks display! \n
