Burning bans lifted

The burning and travel bans in provincial parks and Crown lands on the mainland have now been lifted thanks to the rain. Restrictions in cape Breton were lifted earlier this week.

All the fires are deemed under control….and the only one still showing any smoke is Seven Mile Lake. Natural Resources Minister Lloyd Hines credited good work by fire fighters and good fortune with the rainfall.
