Lawyer banned from vengeful court action
A judge has found a retired lawyer, who launched a flurry of legal actions over veterinary treatment of his dog in the Annapolis Valley, used the courts as a cudgel to wreak vengeance on his adversaries.
Justice Jamie Campbell has banned Jack Cram from taking any new legal actions against several veterinarians, a vet clinic and the provincial veterinarians’ association without court approval. Campbell also dismissed various other claims filed after the veterinarians’ group dismissed Cram’s negligence complaint against a vet in Bridgetown.
