Violent Robbery in Guysborough County

The RCMP are investigating a violent robbery in Fleet Settlement, Guysborough County on Thursday. Around 6:30pm a man with a knife entered a woman’s home on Fleet Settlement Road. The woman struggled with the assailant and was able to run from the home unharmed. The suspect stole some cash before fleeing the residence. The suspect is described as five-foot-four with a thin build, with a brownish-red braided goatee and a deep voice.
