Police issue warning to lock doors after a number of B&Es.

Halifax Regional Police are advising people to lock their doors after receiving 41 reports of home break and enters since July 1st.

Police say most of the break-ins have involved unlocked doors or windows — although windows have been smashed or doors or locks forced open in a few cases.

Suspects have been charged in five of the incidents.
