Family of sexually assaulted toddler won’t pursue case

The family of a Halifax toddler that was involved in an alleged sexual assault on Friday won’t pursue the case.  Police say she was playing when a man took her behind a building and touched her.

Constable Dianne Woodworth would not elaborate on why the family no longer wants the case investigated, but said the department respects their decision.
