NDP questions government’s nursing home funding numbers

The NDP says cuts to nursing homes by the McNeil Government are worse than first thought.  They released a by-facility breakdown obtained through a Freedom of Information request, but after speaking with homes the party says the numbers are inaccurate.

For instance, in the case of Maritime Oddfellows in Pictou, cuts were shown by the government to total almost $27,000. The facility’s  administration say it was actually about $46,000.
