Halifax Cab Driver Charged with Sexual Assault

Another Halifax cabbie has been charged with sexual assault. A woman was picked up on Lacewood Drive on July 15th and dropped off on Sherwood Street. While waiting to pay the driver tried to kiss her, then locked her door and touched her over her clothing. 28-year-old Saher H. Hamdan turned himself in on Friday, and is due in court October 5th.
