Hit and run sends three to hospital

A hit and run accident just before the supper hour sent two women and a child to hospital from Highway 118.

The women, aged 66 and 38 were kept in hospital overnight. The child was treated and released.

Two men in an SUV stopped after the accident near the Akerly exit, switched places and then took off. Police arrested two suspects a little later…a 23 year old man from Truro and a 25 year old from Millbrook who are facing a number of charges.
