Car break-in thwarted

A Halifax man faces several charges after being confronted by the owner of a vehicle he was trying to break into.

Police were called to Main Avenue in Fairview early yesterday where the victim said he saw someone try to open his car door. He approached and the suspect lunged at him with scissors. The vitim wasn’t injured. A 30 year old man was found a short time later and will be in court later.
