Man Stabbed after Answering Knock at Door

Halifax police are investigating after a man was stabbed overnight by apparent strangers knocking at his door. Shortly after midnight a 31-year-old man answered his door on Charles Street to two men and a woman who were not known to him. Police say there was short exchange and physical confrontation that resulted in the victim being stabbed in the chest. He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The suspects are described as a white male carrying a red camo bag and wearing a red hat; a black male wearing jeans, a red shirt and carrying a bag with a strap across his chest. The third suspect was a thin blonde female wearing a red, black and blue dress with a flannel shirt over top.
