New Ocean Frontier Institute HQ to be at Dalhousie

Dalhousie University is going to be the headquarters of the Ocean Frontier Institute.  The federal government is putting in $93.7 million over seven years for the project.  It’ll research ocean and ecosystem change, and develop sustainable fisheries and aquaculture innovations.  Memorial University, UPEI and eight international institutes are also involved.
