Teens charged in youth facility riot

Two teens are facing more time behind bars after a confrontation with guards at the Waterville Youth Facility Sunday night.

RCMP were called to the facility and found four boys, two aged 17, an 18 year old and a 19 year old were involved in an altercation with staff. Five workers and one youth suffered minor injuries.

The 19 year old has been charged with mischief and rioting…the 18 year old with mischief, rioting, and assault causing bodily harm. Kings District RCMP continue to investigate.
