Federal, NS delegation meet about Alton natural gas project

Delegations from the federal government and Nova Scotia met yesterday on the banks of the Shubenacadie River.  Mi’kmaq communities and many others have called on Fisheries Minister Dominic LeBlanc to act on protecting waterways against the Alton natural gas project.  They also said how the department can’t rely on science done by the Harper government, with gaps and oversight evident in this project alone.
