NATO exercises off Halifax

Warships from six NATO countries are in Halifax this week for naval exercises.

The ships are taking part in an exercise aimed at improving NATO’s anti-submarine warfare capabilities. In all, 11 ships, three submarines and over two dozen aircraft will be participating in the 13 day exercise which gets underway today. 14 Wing Greenwood will also be hosting roughly six aircraft from the US and France taking part in the exercise.
