Police Asking Public for Information in Dartmouth Murder

Police are asking for the public’s help in their investigation into the murder of of Rickey Walker. The 48-year-old man called police to report he been shot on September first. He was found behind John MacNeil Elementary School on Leaman Drive in Dartmouth and died en route to hospital. Police are looking for anyone who may have seen Walker on August 31st. So far police say Walker was seen around Portland Street and Prince Street around 11am on August 31st and was then seen getting off a bus on Highfield Park Drive. Anyone who may have spotted Walker that day is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
