Dalhousie University Student in Critical Condition after Fall from Balcony
A Dalhousie University student is fighting for her life after falling from her second floor balcony in downtown Halifax. The 21-year-old third year engineering student was on her apartment balcony with three friends when she leaned against the railing and it gave way. The incident occurred shortly before midnight on Saturday, September 10th at the Mary Queen of Scots Inn building on Queen Street. Police say they don’t believe alcohol was factor. The injured student remains in critical condition.
