The World Cup of Hockey is underway with Team North America beating Finland 4-1. Nathan MacKinnon scored one of the goals.

The Blue Jays slide continues with a 4-0 loss to the Angels. The Jays dropped to a game behind Baltimore for the top wildcard spot but have a two game lead over Seattle for the second. The Red Sox lead the division after sweeping the Yankees 5-4.

In the CFL…Roughriders came back to beat Edmonton 26-23.  In the NFL…the Patriots downed the Dolphins 31-24.
