Bomb threats evacuate local, regional schools

NSCC’s Institute of Technology campus was evacuated this morning after a bomb threat – something that happened at Cape Breton’s Marconi campus as well. Police went on scene just after 8 and asked people to avoid the area.

A suspicious package was also found around the same time near the Central Library on Spring Garden, but that was determined to be garbage.  All PEI schools were also evacuated after their own threats.
