Man in custody after police chase

A man is facing charges of assault, forcible confinement and other counts after an incident around 8:00 last night.

A injured woman was screaming for police on the street near Almon and Windsor Street. Police located the suspect vehicle but the driver refused to stop and took off….finally stopping on Connor lane where he was arrested without further incident. Nobody else was hurt. The woman suffered minor facial injuries and declined treatment by paramedics.
