Valley man sentenced for manslaughter in Bedford man’s death

A Kentville man, known in the Valley as Mean Joe Greene, is going to prison for killing a Bedford man in Enfield.

54 year old Joseph James Greene has been sentenced to 13 years after pleading guilty to manslaughter earlier. Greene has 40 previous convictions…many for violence.

He was charged with killing 46 year old Patrick Deagle at a residence on Stage Road in Enfield in August last year. Greene was there to provide protection for his niece’s family in a dispute over drugs.
