Rocks sent flying after blast

Nobody was hurt when rocks pounded into a Clayton Park apartment building across Highway 102 from the Gateway Materials Quarry at Kearney Lake. There was property damage, including at least one broken window, when the blasting sent rocks flying across the highway. No reports of any cars being hit.

The Labour Department issued a stop work order and is investigating.
