Montreal pitbulls being brought to Atlantic Canada

Atlantic Canadian animal rescue groups are working to bring pitbulls from Montreal here. Halifax-based Pawsability Rescue Society director Anthony Carter says he’s started placing the dogs, and has 200 messages offering homes. Saint John’s Transports without Borders is helping bring them around the region after Montreal voted in favour of a grandfathered ban on the breed.
