Right Whales have moved

Underwater drones are spying on endangered North Atlantic right whales to find out where they feed each year when they come up from Florida.

Marine biologists used the drones to track the whales to waters off the Gaspe peninsula. Dalhousie researchers say they found more Right Whales there than in their traditional feeding areas of the Bay of Fundy and Roseway Basin. Now they can work on protecting them from shipping in the Gaspe area.
