Barns burn

Four barns were destroyed in a fire near Tatamagouche Saturday evening. All four barns at Ram Farms were connected. No animals were lost.

A family of 8 Syrian refugees have been renting the house from the farm owners, a family from Iraq who have been here for eight years. Nobody was hurt but the pregnant mother was taken to hospital in Truro as a precaution. The rest of the family is staying with the farm owners in Halifax until power is restored.
