Carbon tax reaction

The provinces reacted quickly to news from Prime Minister Trudeau that his government will set and enforce a minimum carbon tax if the provinces don’t do it themselves.

Frustrated provincial environment ministers walked out of a meeting with their federal counterpart yesterday. Nova Scotia’s environment minister Margaret Miller said the she feels let down and surprised.

The Premiers are starting to speak out against it as well…especially Alberta and Saskatchewan.
