Lost Hiker Rescued Near Willams Lake

Halifax police were called after a young woman hiking near Willams Lake became lots last night. The 21-year-old woman called 911 for help from her cellphone shortly before 8pm. She had been hiking the area but lost her way as darkness fell. Police with the assistance of K9 unit were able to locate the young woman shortly before 10:30pm. She was cold but otherwise okay.
