Thanksgiving Storm

The cleanup continues after that nasty storm yesterday.

Tens of thousands of Nova Scotians are still in the dark and may be until this evening.

There were a total of 144,000 NSP customers who lost their lights during the storm with many leaving cold turkeys in the ovens.

The outages were scattered all over the province…but Cape Breton was particularly hard hit with a lot more rain…more wind too.  They got well over 200mm of rain in parts of Cape Breton with winds gusting well over 100kph. That caused massive flooding and road washouts.
