Mini-Grey Cup at CFB Halifax

The 47th version of the Mini-Grey Cup will take place at CFB Halifax’ Porteous Field, tomorrow starting at 1 p.m. The Base Administration Officer, Commander Dave Colbourne, will oversee the coin toss at 12:45.

The traditional football match between the Wardroom Officers and the Fleet Club Jr. Rank sailors (Slackers) promises to be a hotly-contested and entertaining event that will offer something for the entire family. In addition to the competitive and exciting game, the Slackers will try to maintain and defend their long-standing winning streak. Tail-gate party style attractions of the day, commencing at 1130, will include beverages, a BBQ and hot chili and a number of other displays, events, competitions and fundraisers to support the National Defence Workplace Charitable Campaign.
