Immigration is good for the economy

Federal Economic Development Minister Navdeep Bains is asking for help from the business community to fight pushback from the public on immigration.

Bains wants businesses to show immigration is a way to increase prosperity and opportunity for all Canadians. He admits some people are afraid of losing their jobs…but the reality is many immigrants set up businesses and create jobs. The minister says immigration should be looked on as a driver of economic growth.
