Police Memorial

Police and peace officers from across Nova Scotia will be in Halifax tomorrow for the annual memorial service honouring officers who have died in the line of duty in the province.

The memorial begins with a march from police headquarters to Grand Parade.

A brief ceremony will then follow at the Nova Scotia Fallen Peace Officers’ Monument.

Family members will lay wreathes in memory of officers in Nova Scotia who have died in the line of duty.
