Fight against I-SIS

The push to recapture the Iraqi city of Mosul from I-SIS continues with Canadian troops supporting Kurdish fighters.

The Kurds freed several villages yesterday as the massive offensive got underway. At least 6 Kurdish fighters were killed and 16 others wounded. Canadian special forces have been spending more time at the frontlines there in the past couple of weeks.
