No Serious Flooding Reported after Saturday Rain Storm

Cape Breton residents are breathing a sigh of relief after yesterday’s rain storm. The region that was so hard hit on Thanksgiving day one week ago managed to avoid the same kind of flooding this time round. The rain did however cause a handfull of small outages around the province and ferry service last night between North Sydney and Port Aux Basques,Newfoundland was cancelled. Ferry service will resume later this morning with departures from both ports at 11:45.
