Province to provide more funding for foster parents

The province has announced more funding for foster parents.  They’ll get $200 for clothing and personal items per child when they first arrive; that’s as of November 1st.  The respite care rate is also going up to $56 a day.  The head of the Federation of Foster Families of Nova Scotia says it’s a big step toward better parent recruitment and retention.
