Sears closing Penhorn store

Sears has announced its closing its store in the Penhorn Mall in September next year.

Sears has been losing millions and is cutting back. It says the timing is right to close the Penhorn store because it’s lease in the mall is ending. 73 employees will be given first shot at jobs at the Halifax Shopping Centre store.
