Sackville Sports Stadium fire

Sackville Sports Stadium will be open for regular hours today, except for the pool, after it was evacuated yesterday.

There was a small fire in the ventilation system on the roof that sent a lot of smoke through the building. Nobody was hurt. Staff say air quality now meets safety standards but patrons may still notice a lingering odour this morning. The pool remains closed while they clean it up.
