Teachers’ strike

There’s a massive vote by teachers in favour of a strike to back contract demands.

NSTU President Liette Doucet says 96% were in favour of a walkout. Doucet says they feel they have not been genuinely consulted by government in decisions affecting classrooms and schools. The teachers will be in a legal strike position December 3rd.
