Excavator joyriders

Police are investigating after someone commandeered an excavator and caused some damage last night.

Police were called to Wentworth Drive and Eliza Ritchie Crescent around 9:00 where several people were reportedly playing with an excavator and smashed a fire hydrant causing a large amount of water to escape. They then took off in a small white car.
