Murder sentences

A Lawrencetown couple has been sentenced after pleading guilty to the second degree murder of Catie Miller in 2014.

31 year old Jason James Johnson and his 35 year old girlfriend Kelly Amanda MacDonald pleaded guilty to killing the 29 year old Miller, cutting up her body and speading her remains in various location along the Eastern Shore.

The judge called it a cold and heinous crime as he said Johnson won’t be eliglble for parole for 20 years and MacDonald for 16 years.
