Weapons Charges

At 4:02 Friday afternoon Halifax Regional Police responded to the 100 block of Brule Street in Dartmouth for a report for a man with a firearm. Prior to police arrival it was learned the man entered a residence on Brule Street. Members set up containment and a short time later several parties exited the residence. The suspect was taken into custody. Police obtained a search warrant and searched the residence where a sawed off shot gun was located and seized. A 29 year old man from Dartmouth is being held for court on Monday to face several weapon charges.
