Person Airlifted From Fishing Vessel

A person in medical distress has been medivaced from a fishing vessel off Brown’s Bank, South of Nova Scotia. Joint Task Force Atlantic dispatched a Hercules aircraft and Cormorant helicopter from 14 Wing Greenwood on Saturday morning. The patient was hoisted off the vessel by helicopter and taken to a hospital in Yarmouth. Details on the patient’s condition have not been released.
