A Halifax man faces drug trafficking charges after a home invasion Thursday night. A man knocked on the door of a Brenton Street residence, then sprayed the man who answered with a sensory irritant. The resident locked himself in his room and called police, but couldn’t provide a description of the suspect. What police saw in the residence led them to get a search warrant, after which marijuana, paraphernalia and cash were seized. The 31-year-old is due in court November 8th.
