The province will keep seasonal firefighters and burning restrictions in place longer this fall because of the dry weather.  They usually shut the fire fighters down October 15th…but they’ll be around at least a week longer.

Natural Resources Minister Lloyd Hines says conditions are still too dry to let the province’s guard down. Some provincial parks will also continue to provide showers and drinking water to residents of the southwest whose wells are still dry.
