Two men are facing charges after an armed home invasion in South end Halifax on Saturday morning. Halifax police were called to a residence on Inglis Street around 3:30am after two men armed with a firearm broke into a residence and demanded money from the residents inside. The suspects fled on foot but were apprehended by police a short distance away. Both of the men, aged 28, are facing a number of weapons charges as well as Robbery, Break and Enter and Home Invasion charges. Police say the victims were not injured and it was not a random act.
